Our Time in Mobile

We arrived in Mobile on Wednesday 8 July to assist our daughter Jenny after her scheduled surgery on Friday 10 July to remove her tonsils. She came through the surgery fine. We have been staying with her during the day while her husband (Matt) works, and Dianne has been preparing meals so Jenny did not have to worry about cooking. Jenny has had a few minor problems and had to return to the Doctor on Thursday 16 July. He perscribed additional antibiotics, and gave her a couple of steroid shots to jumpstart her imune system. She is doing much better today. She still can not eat anything but liquids and soft foods for another week. She returns to the Doctor on Friday 24 July for her post op check-up. Hopefully everything will be fine and she can start eating regular foods at that time.

We will be leaving here on Wednesday 22 July to go to Pell City, AL to babysit our grand daughter so that Galon and his wife Maggie can attend her 10 year High School Reunion. We plan to stay in Pell City until Wednesday 29 July and then return to Pensacola for a couple of weeks before venturing out again.
